Why choose this?

Buy it if you cook mince in a sauce and do not want to skim the fat off.

100% grass-fed beef, minced lean. Less fat means less to drain and a cleaner sauce; brown it hard and it still tastes of beef.

Cooking idea

How we’d cook it

A starting point, not a rule. Thickness, your pan and how you like it all move the numbers.

Method
Brown, then simmer
Time
8–10 minutes to brown
  1. 1

Hot pan, a little oil, mince in a single layer. Leave it to brown before breaking it up.

  2. 2

Work in batches for a proper crust.

  3. 3

Build the sauce in the same pan.

Storage

Keep refrigerated at 0–4°C. Freeze on arrival if you are not cooking it within two days.
